Hi, everyone. I’m Olive and I just turned 31. I’ll be your guide to single life in the Triad. I’m certainly no stranger to the dating scene. Nope. I’m not ashamed to say I’ve been propositioned by guys a couple of times before (There was that man at the convenience store who asked me if I pump anything besides gas. Then this car stereo installer invited me to go with him to the beach, and said he’d have his teeth fixed by then). So, yeah, two times.

My girlfriends (you’ll hear more about them later) say I have a pretty face. And I’m just 35 more pounds and one Lasik procedure away from being a hottie!

Unfortunately, I’ve got some relationship baggage. For all eight years of high school and college, I was in love with this guy Marty. But he said he didn’t like me “that way.” We still talk sometimes. He was removing asbestos, but now he’s working on getting his GED. So far, he’s my “one who got away.”

But I moved on. And let me tell you, I did my share of sleeping around after the thing with Marty fizzled out - three sexual partners in seven years. Those were some wild times. One of those guys even bought me breakfast the next morning! It felt so “Sex in the City!”
